Sung Yuri has been responding that she knew nothing in regard to the question about her husband's relationship with Park Min Young's alleged ex-boyfriend Kang Jong Hyun.
Last month, Sung Yuri's husband, professional golfer Ahn Sung Hyun, was rumored to have relations with Park Min Young's alleged ex-boyfriend Kang Jong Hyun, who is suspected of being the real owner of 'Bithumb.' However, after the actress's response, the rumors seemed to become buried.
However, there has been an unexpected trace of Sung Yuri being in relation to Kang Jong Hyun. Sung Yuri's company name appeared in the third quarter report of Bucket Studio, where Kang Jong Hyun's sister is the CEO. After this revelation, Sung Yuri is garnering attention after being suspected of being in relation with Kang Jong Hyun and his sister, Kang Ji Yeon. Bucket Studio is one of the three affiliates (Vidente Co and Inbiogen) of Bithumb. Kang Jong Hyun was previously suspected of being the real owner of Bithumb because he was seen carrying around business cards that said he was the CEO of the three affiliate companies.
According to the report, 'The Current Status of Investment in Other Coporations' in the third quarter, Bucket Studio invested 3 billion KRW (2.3 million USD) in the cosmetics company URIID, for the purpose of business diversification on August 4 and acquired 4615 shares (18.75% stake).
Currently, Sung Yuri is listed as the CEO of URIID, which is a cosmetics manufacturer and seller. There is only one executive listed in the company, and it is Sung Yuri's husband, Ahn Sung Hyun.
In regards to Bucket Studio investing a large sum in Sung Yuri's company, her agency Initial Entertainment responded, "We do not know; we will find out." They also explained, "Sung Yuri is the CEO, but then she does not get involved with the operations of URIID."
Bucket Studio invested in URIID in August, and Sung Yuri responded she was unaware of the relation of Kang Jong Hyun in October. Many are questioning whether a CEO of a company was truly unaware that their company received a large investment from another company.
Uhhhhh…… this is going to be another long investigation.
