OMEGA X's Japanese management company announced it cut ties with Spire Entertainment.
Following OMEGA X's press conference on November 16th, a Japanese management company that coordinates OMEGA X's promotions in Japan announced it cut ties with Spire Entertainment.
In its official statement, Skiyaki Inc. wrote, "After holding the special board of directors meeting today, we decided to terminate the business alliance with Spire Entertainment."
The statement continued, "Following a press conference by OMEGA X members held in South Korea at 2:00 pm today, we determined that there was a serious compliance violation by Spire, and concluded to cancel an exclusive contract with Spire regarding OMEGA X's activities in Japan."
"We requested Spire for clarification regarding the issues between the company and OMEGA X members that have been circulating online since October but we were unable to get any satisfactory response. We believe that Spire's conduct, which was announced at today's press conference by OMEGA X members, violates the content of the exclusive contract and damages the trust of OMEGA X and OMEGA X fans."
The company informed the fans that they will promptly update them regarding OMEGA X's official Japanese site and fan club activities.
While this is a great step forward, I hope that they are able to maintain future business ventures together. This is all very murky in that the members need and deserve protection and fair treatment- whether they will find that under their current management or a new company altogether remains to be seen. I wish them well, this is going to be an uphill battle, one that I hope by some miracle they can overcome and continue to thrive as a group.
