According to media outlet reports on November 28, actor Hyun Bin was not able to meet his son at the time of his birth due to his filming schedules in Mongolia.
One insider commented, "The crew of director Woo Min Ho's 'Harbin' is currently immersed in filming. Hyun Bin is working tirelessly to carry the weight of the film's title role'."
Thus, because Hyun Bin was away in Mongolia for his upcoming film 'Harbin', the actor was unable to be by Son Ye Jin's side as she went into labor.
Earlier on November 27, Son Ye Jin's agency confirmed that the actress gave birth to a healthy baby boy. She was originally due in December, but went into labor a few days early.
Meanwhile, in 'Harbin', Hyun Bin will be depicting the role of Korean independence activist Ahn Joong Geun, famous for assassinating the first prime minister of Japan, Itō Hirobumi in 1909.
It’s a shame he couldn’t be there for the birth but there isn’t much you can do when a baby comes early. Hopefully he’ll get to go home and meet his son soon
