Some fans have raised issues over ASTRO member Rocky's alleged "insincerity" is his recent group activities. 

Due to the fact that member MJ is currently fulfilling his mandatory service duties, and member Cha Eun Woo is immensely busy with various overseas and filming schedules, ASTRO has promoted as 4-members during many of their recent schedules. 

According to some fans, of the four members, Rocky has been noticeably "absent" in some of the group's content:

"The members were doing a 'V Live' after their overseas schedule but Rocky said he was tired and just left."

"The members invited him to go sightseeing, but he didn't go out then either." 

"The other three members filmed v-logs from their sightseeing, but Rocky didn't do any of that." 

Furthermore, some fans criticized Rocky's "insincere" and "aloof" attitude:

"All of the other members had proper birthday parties and the staff helped them set up the decorations and prepared nice cakes, but Rocky just had a plain 'Paris Baguette' cake, he was in some dark studio, and he was only live for a few minutes before he turned it off." 

During an interview when all of the ASTRO members were asked, "What was the happiest moment you've ever experienced during your career as ASTRO?"

Jinjin answered, "As a singer, the happiest moment is when you're on stage performing at your [group's] solo concert. And every time we release a new album, I'm always excited."

Moonbin answered, "When we debuted. When we came into the world as a group named ASTRO," while Sanha answered, "I think it's our debut showcase for me. When we met our fans for the first time."

Cha Eun Woo said, "Our solo concert we recently had in June! It was our first in-person concert in a while, and we got to meet Arohas."

Meanwhile, Rocky said, "I was the happiest when I wrote the song 'S#1' from our album."

Now, some fans pointed out that the song "S#1", from ASTRO's 3rd full album 'Drive to the Starry Road', is Rocky's solo song which he wrote and composed. It is also the song which features the narration of, and lyrics written by, actress Park Bo Yeon.

Last month on October 31, Rocky became wrapped up in dating rumors with Park Bo Yeon, a former co-star from the web drama series 'Find Me If You Can'. Although Park Bo Yeon's side denied the dating rumors, Rocky's side commented that the two were "getting to know each other." 

Some netizens reacted to the ASTRO member's "insincerity" accusations with comments like,

"Why is someone like him not doing his job when Cha Eun Woo is busting his butt????"

"This makes me sad knowing how hard the other members of ASTRO work for their group."

"This is basically him sending a strong sign that he wants to leave the group."

"Just go solo and see if you can make a living off of that."

"So this one isn't renewing for sure?"

"The hilarious thing is, no one will even notice if he's gone."

"Is this really all because he's dating? Or is he really having some serious health problems? Because if that's the case, then he should take a break."

"But does he know that women prefer their boyfriends to have jobs..."

"I can't believe how much he's changed since the end of last year, when he was the one who said to the members, 'Let's be ASTRO forever'. He's never doing stuff with the members anymore. All of them started golfing together except Rocky."

"So is he like gonna marry her???"

"If he's feeling burned out, he should really take some time off."

"He's acting like those friends who just cut you off when they start dating someone."
