Park Eun Bin won the 'Rising Star Award for TV' at the 'Asian Pacific Cinema & Television' event hosted by the American Critics Choice Association (CCA).
It was reported that Park Eun Bin took home the award at the event held at the Fairmount Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles on November 5. The actress won the 'Rising Star Award for TV' for her role in 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo.'
This award was more meaningful in that the 'Asia Pacific Cinema & Television' event was held for the first time this year and is hosted by The Critics Choice Association, which also hosts the Critics Choice Awards. The event awarded shows and films from the Asia Pacific region that achieved notable achievements hit year.
In her acceptance speech Park Eun Bin shared through a video, she explained, "'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' is a drama that allowed me to receive not only the love from viewers in Korea but from all around the world. I am really happy and moved to find out through 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' that we are all emotionally connected around the world. I am touched and greatly comforted that we feel the same emotions even though we come from different countries and cultures."
She continued to share, "I am very grateful to Woo Young Woo, director Yoo In Sik, and writer Moon Ji Won for giving me a special opportunity. I am truly thankful to everyone who worked with me."
Meanwhile, Park Eun Bin garnered much love and attention through her exceptional acting skills in the drama 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo.' She also received much love overseas as the drama topped Netflix Global Top 10 chart in the non-English TV category. The drama 'King's Affection' also was nominated for the 50th international Emmy Awards in the Television category.
It wouldn't be surprising if she gets nominated to the Emmys next year. The show was immensely popular and she did such a great job!
