The Idol Star Athletics Championship has been a staple in Korean entertainment for over a decade now, and it is something to look forward to every holiday. The Idol Star Athletics Championship series began in 2010 and is typically held twice a year, on Lunar New Year and Korean Thanksgiving. The Fall Idol Star Athletics was held again this year on Korean Thanksgiving, and it was widely attended by many (mostly) fourth-generation idol groups.
