Just yesterday, a new dating rumor surrounding rookie idols surfaced online. Since then, there have been various opinions given concerning the rumors. On October 12, Kep1er's Dayeon and Ciipher's Won were alleged to be dating each other after an anonymous Twitter user released photos showing the two idols wearing matching items.
While some were saying this was an invasion of their privacy, a handful of K-pop fans were expressing how baffled they were that the two rookie idols, who should be focusing on their careers, were making things obvious that they were dating.
These fans explained how both Dayeon and Won were making a fool out of their fans and provided additional evidence of their "brazen" actions.
According to one netizen, Dayeon shared a photo showing off her new Nike bag through a fan communication app and told her fans to get the same bag so the bag can be a couple's matching item. Later, it was found that Ciipher's Won was seen carrying the same bag.
Also, Ciipher's Won shared some photos with his fans of his outing. It was found that Dayeon had a photo of the same location on her phone background, which led many to believe that the two were on a date and took photos of each other, then shared the images with their fans.
The two idols were also constantly seen sharing photos with fans that showed matching items such as cell phone cases and even pajamas.
What angered fans more is that both Dayeon and Won posted photos of their date to their fans, pretending they were just regular photos of their daily life they wanted to share with fans.
With more photos the idols shared on the fan communication app, fans quickly found commonalities in the photos, such as the same backdrops, outfits, and matching items worn by the two idols.
Many netizens expressed that they were angry because the two idols were blatantly posting the photos on fan communication apps and making it obvious they were dating.
Netizens commented, "To be honest, they weren't found out by Dispatch or anything but they were found out because of the photos they posted in a fan communication app. This is really deceiving their fans lol," "That Ciipher member sent the photo his girlfriend took to his fans, lol," "They really made a fool out of their fans," "If they're sending photos they took of each other to their fans like this, it means they were not trying to hide that they are dating," "I know dating isn't bad and in some sense, it's natural. But then I wonder why they need to make it obvious like this. They know they will be the ones at a loss when they get found out and also causes harm to the group members," "Must have been trilling for them lol," and "Why are they really like this, they should have just stayed quiet."
I'll be totally fine for ANY couple if it's real but please don't drag your fans on it! If you want your private life to remain private then don't be the one to give the free pass or it'll be hard to demand privacy afterwards
