Former Highlight member Junhyung has postponed his comeback schedule due to the Itaewon tragedy.
According to his agency Black Made, Junhyung's EP "Loner" which was scheduled for release on October 30, 6 p.m. KST will be postponed for the time being. The release of the EP's physical album which was scheduled for October 31 has also been postponed.
The release of the album is postponed in light of the Itaewon stampede that happened earlier on October 29, killing over 151 people, and injuring over 300. A national mourning period has also been declared.
Meanwhile, the full statement reads:
"Hello, we're Black Made.
We would like to inform you that the release of Yong Junhyung's EP 'Loner', which was scheduled for 6 p.m. today, has been postponed for the time being.
Also, due to the change in the release schedule, the release schedule of the physical album scheduled for October 31 has also been postponed.
The new release schedule will be officially announced later.
We ask for your understanding and anticipation for Yong Junhyung's EP 'Loner.'
We would also like to express my deep condolences to the victims of the accident and the bereaved families."
