BTS' Jimin and his birthday projects featured on Korean news
On the 15th of October, two days after Jimin's grand birthday celebration, BTS' fans were geared up and excited to be attending the Busan 'Yet to Come' concert in person or by watching it on online platforms.
BTS performed a setlist of their new and old songs and even introduced the dance routine for their song from the Proof album, Run BTS. The song has become an instant fan favorite, bringing Jimin acclaim for his powerful and unique vocal technique; it also earned him praise at the concert for his incredible dancing, going viral amongst fans and netizens.
This was so much so that Jimin's fan cams from the concert have been going viral on TikTok as the only member to get so much recognition; already, some have amassed over 4 Million views as well as millions of views on Twitter.
Following these wonderful celebrations, Korean Media also covered the impact of the BTS concert; notable were the headlines that mentioned Jimin being the pride of Busan, Busan's best star and best output who visited his hometown. During TV Asahi's Morning New report, footage of Jimin's birthday project and banners at the Busan Sports Complex Station were featured when they covered the 'Yet to Come' concert in Busan on the 19th of October.
MBC News, during their televised coverage of the concert on the 17th, showed extensive footage of Jimin when he was performing his famous killer parts for the songs 'Idol' and 'Fire,' as well as his parts while he was singing and performing.
On the 17th, Yonhap News and KBS News 7 Busan featured Jimin's opening statement during the concert in their coverage; Jimin said:
"BUSAN! I'm always happy and honored to met you all, but the fact that we can meet you here, in my hometown, is extra exciting and a bit strange. I sincerely thank everyone for coming."
The station also featured footage of Jimin singing during their news report highlighting him especially. The KBS News 7 Busan station also reported on the concert showing Jimin closely during their 'Mic drop' performance and mentioned how peaceful the event went.
This is not the first time that South Korean media has shown their special appreciation for their national treasure and brand, king Jimin. After all of their concerts, Jimin has been the center stage of all the news reports, be they in South Korea or even abroad.
It should be remembered that while Jimin broke records for most impactful birthday projects and was the first and only person to have 28 related keywords and trends simultaneously on the worldwide Twitter trends for the third year, he was the most talked about member on social media after the concert. This extended to his father's establishment, the Magnate Cafe in Busan, which saw throngs of visitors who wanted to visit after the concert day; celebrities like Indonesian actress, model, and presenter Luna Maya Sugeng and Arsumerzaeva Maryam, fashion brand founder from Russia also visited and took photos to prove it. Due to the increase in activity during the whole period before Jimin's birthday, during and after the concert, the cafe took a break on the 18th to refresh and replenish.
OUR JIMTOBER PRINCE!! Park Jimin we love you, I hope you are having a great Birthday Month!!
