Celebrating their 18th anniversay, one news media outlet gathered 18 experts who have had great influence in the Korean music industry. A survey was conducted under the theme of "4th generation idols whose activities you look most forward to", divided between male and female idol groups that debuted after 2020.
Here are the female idol groups that were voted as the most influential by the 18 experts:
1. NewJeans: Received 16 out of 18 votes (88.9%)
NewJeans made their debut in July 2022 with their 1st album 'NewJeans', and continue to receive a lot of love with their title track "Attention". IVE debuted in December 2021 and has continuously captivated global K-pop fans' hearts with their outstanding visuals, performances, and exciting concept. In particular, Wonyoung and Yujin, who gained a lot of fans through their IZ*ONE promotions, helped the group settle into the K-pop industry quickly.

1. ENHYPEN: Received 17 out of 18 votes (94.4%)
ENHYPEN made their debut as a 7-member group through the Mnet idol survival program 'I-LAND'. Although experts mentioned that TREASURE did not yet reach the level of YG Entertainment's well-known legendary idol groups (such as Big Bang, 2NE1, and BLACKPINK), the TREASURE members show a strong foundation in their musical skills, the members' individual charms, and have great influence in the music industry.
