As the publication date for their October edition approaches, Vogue Korea has been releasing special content for their issue's cover model, Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS. 

After describing him as "an icon of an era," Vogue Korea released an article titled "Fashionable Moments of BTS V" that gives a more in-depth look at why Taehyung's fashion has made him stand out among his peers. Some of his best and most iconic looks from the past are revisited. 

While fashion has no rules, it doesn't mean everyone can look good in anything. Vogue Korea praises Taehyung's exceptional ability to digest any fashion style that others struggle with.

Taehyung's exceptional visuals, paired with his strong confidence and attitude, is a powerful combination that has allowed him to pull off difficult fashion concepts that use materials such as feathers, ruffles, sequins, and leather.

"He is an icon of our time who can handle any style with his own pose and attitude, as much as his gorgeous looks." - Vogue Korea.

The first look mentioned is Taehyung's style during the 'DNA' era, which remains as a 'textbook for male idols.' The look harmonizes the street style with the suit style. He wears an oversized shirt with a necktie, drop earrings, and a bandana in most performances.

Next are the lavish outfits he wore for his solo song 'Singularity.' In both the MV and performances, Taehyung wore luxurious materials such as feathered coats, old-fashioned velvets, and jackets that were 'reminiscent of the Victorian mood of luxury and opulence.'

Taehyung is known for his love of suits, and the variety he has worn to official events was also enumerated. He often changes styles to fit different concepts.

He has worn 'flashier' and colorful styles like his green, retro 'Dynamite' suit and the unconventional, blue-ruffled Louis Vuitton suit. 

But he has also worn 'normal' types of suits, like the gray suit he wore during the '2019 Fact Music Awards' that made his natural visuals stand out.

Naming a more recent event, Taehyung's appearance at the CELINE show for Paris Fashion Week last June was included. He was credited by various fashion media outlets for pulling a 'never-before-seen' crowd and becoming the main event, despite only attending as Hedi Slimane's personal guest.

In his interview with American men’s fashion magazine VMAN, Taehyung confirmed that he had put together his own outfit for the show.
