BLACKPINK's "Pink Venom" was excluded from the 'Music Bank' after being deemed unfit for broadcast by KBS.
According to the music industry on September 5th, BLACKPINK's latest release "Pink Venom" was excluded from the 'Music Bank' chart after KBS's music review committee deemed the song unfit for broadcast by KBS standards.
The committee's reason for the decision on August 24th was that the track violated article 46 of the broadcast standard such as including a brand name in the lyrics.
Generally, the labels would amend the lyrics and request reconsideration. But it was reported that YG Entertainment did not rewrite nor petitioned for reconsideration.
The big groups dont need awards anymore they got cabinets full of trophies so not surprised YG doesnt give a crap about this. What they care about are sales and $$$ and BP made loads for Pink Venom already.
