On August 24, fans raised concerns after strange images and posts began appearing on actor Lee Do Hyun's Instagram account.
All of Lee Do Hyun's past posts were gradually deleted, and photos of rats, foreigners, and the Brazilian flag were posted in succession. Many fans quickly raised suspicions that Lee Do Hyun's account was hacked. In one post, the suspected hacker wrote in Portuguese, "I am playing a prank but I intend to restore all of his past posts and return the account back to normal."
Lee Do Hyun's agency Yuehua Entertainment has also stepped up to issue a statement in response to the recent incident. The agency said, "On the morning of August 24, we confirmed suspicious activity such as the deletion of past posts and the blocking of SNS moderators on Lee Do Hyun's Instagram. We have requested that Instagram respond to the suspicious activity and restore all damages, and we are doing all that we can so that the issue can be resolved as soon as possible. We would like to emphasize that until the account is fully restored, all posts related to this account have no affiliation with Lee Do Hyun whatsoever."
Meanwhile, Lee Do Hyun debuted an actor in 2017 through tvN's 'Prison Playbook'. The star is currently filming for his new series, 'The Glory'.
