Boy band Xdinary Heroes members Jungsu and O.de have been tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a notice published by the band's agency JYP Entertainment, the group will be cancelling schedules for this and next week which includes SBS's "Inkigayo" which was scheduled for today, and KBS2's "Immortal Song" which was scheduled for tomorrow. The members are only experiencing mild symptoms like back pain and coughing, so fans can rest assured.
The full statement reads:
"Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.
This is a notice for Xdinary Heroes members Jungsu and O.de who have tested positive for COVID-19.
Jungsu and O.de were not feeling well this morning and immediately tested with the self test kit, and has been tested positive. Jungsu and O.de have received all three shots of the vaccine, and are only experiencing minor back pains and cough. They will be pausing all schedules and comply with the quarantine measures while receiving treatment.
With that, the recording for SBS “Inkigayo” today and KBS2 “Immortal Song” on August 15 will be cancelled. We would also like to inform that all schedules for next week have also been inevitably postponed.
We ask for your understanding, and we will post any notice if there are any further changes to their schedules as soon as possible.
We would like to apologise for those who have been supporting Xdinary Heroes, and we will prioritize on the wellbeing and health of our artists.
