There's a new "KFC" in town. Korean fried chicken (KFC) has become a national food that Koreans always turn to on any occasion. With high demand and popularity over the years, there have been many fried chicken franchises that arose in the country.
There are so many of these fried chicken restaurants that you can find at least one on nearly every block in South Korea.
Recently, K-netizens have decided to classify the different franchise brands into five different tiers ranking them from the best to worst.
On the top tier labeled as the 'TOP 3' are the Korean brands bb-q Olive chicken, bhc chicken, and Kyochon chicken. Just below, on tier 1 are Nene Chicken, Goobne Chicken, Pelicana, Hosigi Chicken, Kketnypdak, and Barun Chicken.
Tier 2 includes Puradak Chicken, Mexicana Chicken, Toreore Chicken, Norangtongdak, 60 Chicken, and Cheogodzip.
In tier 3 and 4 are restaurants such as Soonsalman, KFC, DD Chicken, Mexican, HOCHICKEN, eJadam Chicken, Chicken Plus, Chicken Maru, Kkanbu Chicken, PNCG Chicken, Boor Chicken, Mom's Touch, and more.
K-netizens commented, "Which chicken expert made this list," "I agree with this list," "bb-q golden original is the best because of that unique olive oil flavor," "My standards are different from this," "There are so many fried chicken brands I don't know," and "I want to eat chicken now, lol."
