Red Velvet's Joy has transformed into the sweet police officer Ahn Ja Young for her brand new Kakao TV original series, 'My Accidental Country Diary'!
Premiering next month on September 5, 'My Accidental Country Diary' is a romantic comedy set in a small countryside village, Heedong-ri. The story follows a veterinarian named Han Ji Yool (played by Choo Young Woo), a city boy born and raised in Seoul who can't seem to adjust to life in Heedong-ri at all. His life changes when he meets the village peacekeeper, a young police officer who can solve just about any problem.
In her first still cuts as the police officer Ahn Ja Young, Joy exudes a bright and bubbly energy as she patrols the village on her bicycle.
