Police launch investigation into a CEO of an entertainment company who forced female trainees to send their pictures in underwear

AKP STAFF

Police launched an investigation into a CEO of an entertainment label who forced female trainees to send their pictures in underwear every week.

According to an exclusive media report on August 22nd KST, the Incheon police department is currently investigating a complaint that was filed back in June. The complaint stated a CEO of an entertainment label, 'A', has collected underwear 'body check' pictures from girl group trainees every Tuesday from April to June. The said pictures were taken by trainees from the front, back, and side per his demand.

The police raided A's office last month and are currently forensically analyzing his phone and computers.

'A' claims he took consent from both international and Korean trainees and he did not have sexual intentions. He continues to claim that it was one of the methods to help them debut faster.

Anyone who asks for a photo of you in underwear/naked I feel is a red flag. Even if this person is your CEO you signed a contract blah blah blah, doesn't mean these photos won't end up in the wrong hands or online somewhere. Someone can be making money off of these and you wouldn't even know.
