Girls' Generation's 7th full album 'Forever 1' has completed its first week sales.
Originally released physically on August 8, Girls' Generation's 'Forever 1' finished its first week sales count on August 14 at 185,600 copies, according to the Hanteo chart. 'Forever 1' sold double the amount sold in the first week by Girls' Generation's 6th full album 'Holiday Night', which recorded approximately 90,200 after its initial release.
The album now joins Hanteo chart's top 50 highest selling K-Pop girl group albums in first week sales at #28, behind ITZY's 'GUE?? WHO'.
SM didnt print enough albums for ppl to buy. I bought it from 2 different stores and they both said there was limited stock (from supplier) so the album wasnt available to purchase in store. The limited stock was for those who preordered it and even then its not enough. I preordered mine and had to wait a week to actually receive it when usually I wouldve gotten it the day its released for other sm groups. Also I think the fact that they cancelled their music show appearance affected their sales.
