Girls' Generation released a group photo revamping the 'Gee' group photo.
On August 5 at midnight KST (which happens to be their 15th-anniversary), the veteran girl group released a group teaser photo for the upcoming 7th full album 'FOREVER 1,' which contains a total of 10 tracks, including the group's title track of the same name.
'FOREVER 1' will be released via digital music streaming platforms on August 5 at 6 PM KST. The album's physical copy will be available on August 8.
So stay tuned for just a few more hours until the girls are back!

The way they're recreating photoshoots for their past singles (Gee, Into The New World, Mr. Taxi etc.) makes me feel like this will be the last and final album of the group. I hope I'm wrong. I'm very excited for their comeback but also feel bittersweet to see a possible end of an era as they focus on solo activities. I started my love for Kpop back in 2008 with SNSD's Kissing You and Girls' Generation (song). They were my ultimate bias group. Stats of newer groups (Youtube views, album sales etc.) may be grander than ever, but their impact on the 2nd gen of the Hallyu wave when Kpop wasn't as prevalent as it is now, was no easy feat.
