Fans defend Jay Park after accusations he used racial slur during performance

Fans are defending Jay Park after accusations he used a racial slur during his performance for the 'MIK Festival 2022' concert in London.

The music festival featuring Korean hip hop artists Jay Park, Jessi, Dok2, LOCO, Lee Hi, Epik High, GRAY, and pH-1 took place in London on July 31, and soon afterwards, rumors began that Jay Park had used the N word during his performance. 

One netizen claimed Jay Park had stated, "Shout out 2 a n**** wassup," but fans quickly responded to defend the artist. Though the netizen later admitted she misheard what was said, she did not delete her message. 

Jay Park himself later posted on Twitter concerning rumors being created about him. He also posted a clip of his performance along with the message, "London was awesome, and yes, I shouted out Dua Lipa because we're in the UK."
