BTS's Kim Taehyung, aka V, has been called the 'Idol of Idols' for many years and still keeping this nickname alive by proving each day his icon figure in the industry for being the top role model chosen by 4th-generation K-pop idols and rookies.

V is well-known for his ability to change on-stage personas because of his passion for acting. This is what rookies admire the most about the idol, the ability to have an excellent performance not just with dancing but also with facial expressions that play a significant role in a performance.

In a recent interview with E-Daily, DKB vocalist LUNE said V is his role model. The Vocalist of the nine-member boy group DKB expressed his admiration for Kim Taehyung, saying: "When I look at V on stage, he has a unique atmosphere. His facial expressions and gestures are very attractive, and I want to learn that, so I use him as my role model."

The idol has shown affection for his role model Taehyung on multiple occasions; in an interview in 2020, LUNE also mentioned V saying, "I have a role model actually.. like even all of the members know who it is. Really... among BTS-sunbaenims, I really like V-sunbaenim a lot. I admire him, really. I admire him very much."

In an interview with bntnews in 2021, the idol also mentioned his admiration for his role model “V is my role model. I am researching by myself on how to develop such an unrivaled atmosphere (on/offstage) as V.”
