BLACKPINK will be officially joining the August comeback lineup!

On July 6 KST, YG Entertainment stated, "BLACKPINK will be releasing a new track in August. After much efforts made, we have prepared a BLACKPINK-style music." They further revealed that the BLACKPINK members are currently in the last stages of recording for their new album, and will soon begin filming for their music video. YG Entertainment then added, "In order for BLACKPINK to expand their connection with global fans, they plan to set out for a world tour, which will be the largest in scale among all K-pop girl groups. Further, we will consistently continue to hold big projects in synchronization with the [large-scale world tour]."

It's been nearly two years since BLACKPINK released their 1st full-length album 'The Album' back in 2020, along with the pre-released title track "How You Like That" and special collaboration track "Ice Cream". Thus, many look forward to BLACKPINK's long-awaited comeback.
