TWICE member Nayeon achieved another impressive feat following her solo debut!
According to Billboard's update this past week, Nayeon made her first appearance on the 'Artist 100' chart at #5, setting a new record among K-Pop female solo artists. Nayeon now holds the highest peak by a K-Pop female solo artist on the chart. In addition, the idol has become the second highest-peaking K-Pop female artist, just behind BLACKPINK, who peaked at #1.
Meanwhile, the title track from Nayeon's first album 'IM NAYEON,' titled "POP!", reached a new peak of #5 on Billboard Japan's 'Hot 100' chart for the week of July 9. With this, "POP!" has become the highest-charting K-Pop song (excluding Japanese releases) by a female solo artist in Billboard Japan history.
Earlier, Nayeon landed at #7 on the Billboard 200, becoming the first-ever Korean solo artist to enter the top 10 of the chart.
Congratulations to Nayeon!
Her album is actually very good. Well deserved.
