Song Min Ho of WINNER who previously drew attention in Korea for purchasing lottery tickets and winning 2,000 KRW (approx. $1.50 USD) had others try out their luck. On July 14, a netizen who sang the band's latest single, "I Love U", while purchasing a lottery ticket revealed they had won 20 million KRW (approx. $15,114 USD).
The netizen decided to buy a ticket following the rapper, who had previously bought one a week prior and stated they were humming, "I Love Yoou-uuu-uu~" (a line from the chorus) due to its addictiveness and vouched the song was as if it made money come in. They recommended to listen to the song to receive good vibes.
Meanwhile, WINNER released their fourth extended play Holiday on July 5 and has since engaged in promotional activities which include the band's successful guerrilla concert 'Holiday In The City'.
Ohhh I randomly came across the original post (?) by the person who won on Twitter but because the entirety of the content was in Korean, I didn't quite understand. It went viral though heaps of Koreans were retweeting it. Should I buy a lottery ticket ahahah deffs in need of some cash and luck 😂😭
