Former F.T. Island member Song Seunghyun denied he's the idol-turned-actor reportedly involved in voice phishing crimes.
Following reports that a former idol-turned-actor was involved in a voice phishing scam, Seunghyun took to Instagram to address rumors he was the actor in question. On July 12, he shared a screenshot of an article along with the message, "It's not me. Don't worry. I'm doing well and filming a project right now."
According to reports, actor 'A', who was formerly a member of a famous idol group, turned himself in at Yeoju Police Station in Gyeonggi Province in mid-June for being involved in a phishing scam. 'A' reportedly stated he took on a part-time job online after suffering economic difficulties, and he later realized it was a voice phishing operation. It's said he was not fully aware he was working for an illegal operation at first.
Stay tuned for updates.

Whoever it was, I feel really sorry for him because he was also scammed and he absolutely did the right thing no matter how scared he was when going to the police so I hope at least something good comes from this if it's possible and not only do the police get all the bad people who created the situation behind bars, but this person also gets proper work opportunities
