aespa meets their domestic fans for the first time!
On July 30, girl group aespa held their first domestic fanmeet "My SYNK. aespa" at the SK Olympic Handball Stadium at 6PM KST. In addition to fans who were able to attend physically, the fanmeet was also broadcasted live online through global platform Beyond LIVE, for all their fans domestically and overseas alike.
At the fanmeet, aespa heated up the atmosphere with their hits such as "Black Mamba," "Next Level," "Savage," as well as the title track "Girls" from their latest 2nd mini-album, along with b-sides such as "Life's Too Short" and "Illusion."
aespa also treated their fans with the first live stages of their non-title tracks such as "ICU" and "YEPPI YEPPI," which was responded with loud cheers and chants from their fans on site. Despite being a fanmeet, the atmosphere was nothing short of a concert's.
Heechul, who appeared as an MC, then hosted game corners which added much fun and interaction to the fanmeet.
At the end of the performance, aespa concluded, "This was our first face-to-face fanmeet in Korea, and it has been a very fun and enjoyable time. It was also the first time we performed the tracks "ICU" and "YEPPI YEPPI," and you guys being here made the performance even better, and we hope there are more songs we can show you in the future. Let's meet often in the future."
Meanwhile, aespa will also be holding their first Japan showcase "aespa JAPAN PREMIUM SHOWCASE 2022~SYNK~" to be held at Yokohama Pia Arena MM from August 6 to 7.
