Global K-pop act Seventeen set another impressive record with their latest album 'Face the Sun' and became the second group to sell over 2 million albums in a week.
According to the data released by Hanteo chart, Seventeen reached a new career-high as their 4th full-length album, 'Face The Sun,' and sold over 2 million copies on the first week of release. On June 2, the final first-week sales count for the boy band's most recent album ended, and it was revealed that the boy group accumulated over 2 million copies sold.
With this new data, Seventeen has become a double million-seller and also became the second K-pop act to hit 2 million sales in the first week following BTS.
