How netizens are reacting to G-Dragon buying an expensive penthouse in cash

Netizens are talking about Big Bang member G-Dragon's latest real estate purchase.  

As previously reported, G-Dragon bought a 'Nine One Hannam' penthouse in Yongsan-gu, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, for the sale price of 16.4 billion KRW (~13.1 million USD) in cash at the end of March 2022. 

Shortly after the media reports went out on June 3rd, netizens gathered at a popular online community to talk about the news. Some of their reactions include:

"Wow, all in cash. Now, this is flexing." 

"I like this method better than setting up a paper company to take out a loan." 

"I thought he already lived there?"

"^It was rental at first then he bought the house."

"I wonder what it feels like to be that rich. I'm envious of him."

"lol, I'm not even envious because that doesn't even feel real to me."

"Well it's THE G-Dragon lol"

"I love how he bought with his cash. I've seen too many celebrities doing shady stuff with a paper company and all that." 

Meanwhile,  'Nine One Hannam' penthouses are 10 of the total 341 units of the apartment complex. It has its own parking lot and elevator. Of these, seven households have found a new owner, and three units are still owned by the developer. 

Out of seven households, five are CEOs of well-known corporations, one is a foreigner working in finance and the other one is G-Dragon.
