Former B.A.P member Himchan is holding fan events in Tokyo despite his sexual assault charges and ongoing sexual molestation case.
Last year, Himchan was convicted of sexual assault and sentenced to 10 months in prison and 40 hours of sexual violence treatment. After being accused of assault by a woman during a retreat in 2018, he later admitted guilt despite denying the charges previously. In the midst of the case, Himchan also got into trouble with the law for drunk driving. In April of 2022, he was then accused of sexual molestation of two women, and that case is still ongoing.
Despite the controversies and criminal charges, Himchan will be holding 16 fan events in Tokyo from July 12-24 under the title 'Himchan Tokyo Live Week'. He'll be performance twice each day, and a live stream will be available for international fans. The details for the fan events and concerts were previously posted on Himchan's official social media this past April, and the streaming information was recently reposted.
