BTS's "Run BTS", the first track on CD 2 from the upcoming anthology album 'Proof', has been deemed unfit for broadcast by KBS standards as of June 8.
According to an update on KBS's official website, of all the tracks from BTS's 'Proof', two tracks were deemed unfit for broadcast after a thorough review by the board. First, KBS stated that "Run BTS" has been deemed unfit for KBS broadcast due to "lyrics which contain cursing, slang, and crude language." Additionally, "Born Singer", the first track on CD 1 of 'Proof', has also been deemed unfit for broadcast for similar reasons. "Born Singer" is a track originally released by BTS in July of 2013 as a free single online.
Next, an "unfit for broadcast" decision for the track "For Youth", track #14 on CD 3, has been deferred by the board, on the basis that the lyrics of a song playing in the background inside a performing arena, featured in the first 30 seconds of the introduction, were not listed as part of the track's official lyrics.
Finally, BTS's comeback title track "Yet To Come" has been deemed appropriate for broadcast by KBS standards.
Meanwhile, BTS will be releasing their anthology album 'Proof' on June 10 at 12 AM EST.
Oof…. That’s how you know BTS is coming back with a bang
