One of the great things about K-Pop is the music videos. You never know what you'll be gifted with, and as time has passed, the music videos that groups have been able to produce have been on a whole other level. Here are five of the most aesthetic and cinematic music videos out there!
1. BTS' Spring Day: Probably one of the most cinematic music videos to exist today. "Spring Day" quickly became a phenomenon, not just for the bittersweet lyricism but also for the aesthetic music video, which captured the essence of the passing season of spring going into winter. After watching this music video, you're sure to feel a range of emotions, from happy and sad to bittersweet.
2. Seventeen's Don't Cry: With the vast amount of members, there may be difficulties in capturing the perfect shots, especially in a music video which at most runs for three minutes. But Seventeen pulled it off seamlessly. With the great desert and streets of Los Angeles as their backdrop, the coordination of this music video has to be acknowledged.
3. BLACKPINK Jennie's Solo: The outfits, the makeup, the hair, the scenery. "Solo" has got to be one of the best shot music videos, every scene portrays Jennie's beauty in more ways than one, and the scene where she's all dressed up in blue sitting in the water is just *chef's kiss.*
4. Girls' Generation The Boys: When thinking of cinematic music videos, we cannot forget the iconic "The Boys" music video. The way the music video begins by showcasing all nine members and their flawless yet sophisticated beauty. To be honest, this music video was too short, I wish we got a longer version!
5. Oh My Girl's YooA's Bon Voyage: Flawlessly pulling off the fairy fantasy concept, "Bon Voyage" brought you into a whimsical world, and the nature scenery is breathtakingly beautiful, complementing YooA's beauty as well.
