In Episode 4 of "BTS become game developers," each BTS member was given a chance to give a word about HYBE's new game, In the Seom, to fans.

In the seom is HYBE's upcoming mobile game set to release on June 28, 2022. It is a story-rich puzzle and a casual, character management game with BTS contributing to its creation.

Prior to this game, HYBE had released games such as BTS world, a mobile game in which players take the role of BTS' manager, going through various journeys with each of the seven members; and BTS Universe Story, a sandbox-type game, where players can create their own stories which they could share and freely communicate with others.

Regarding the new game BTS leader RM said: "If I were a fan, I don't think I would expect much about this game our company is developing because many games have been released since our debut, and those were predictable games that just used existing artists and their IP."

Though to appeal the game to fans, he also added: "(Gaming) Experts have moved to our company and made this game with love so I think this time is going to be different."

RM also explained that all members do care a lot about this project and consider it an important one.

It is a well-known fact that HYBE corporation has been trying to reduce its dependency on BTS by developing their game company using BTS' IP, but so far, they had been failing. Despite the loyalty of BTS ARMY, the hype around the games never lasted enough, and HYBE still has to heavily rely on BTS to keep the company afloat.
