Global K-pop act Seventeen has set yet another impressive record with their latest album.
According to the data released by Hanteo chart on May 28 KST, Seventeen reached a new career-high as their 4th full-length album, 'Face The Sun,' sold a whopping 1.7 million copies on the first day of release. Meaning the boy band has broken their personal record in first-day sales; the previous record-holder was their 8th mini-album, 'Your Choice,' which accumulated around 800,000 first-day album sales.
Not just did Seventeen break its record in first-day sales, but it was also able to smash its record in first-week sales. The album that previously held the record was 'Your Choice' which had around 1.3 million copies sold on the first week of release. This makes it even more impressive as 'Face The Sun' broke the group's record in first-week sales, just on the first day of release.
