The production staff of KBS2's 'Music Bank' has issued a follow-up statement in response to the controversy surrounding LE SSERAFIM's victory over Lim Young Woong this past weekend.
Earlier on May 19, 'Music Bank' fell under more scrutiny as media outlet 'Dispatch' claimed that the music program failed to credit Lim Young Woong his due points for KBS radio station plays.
Now, a representative of KBS has issued a statement of refutal as follows: "The broadcast score category of 'Music Bank' only accounts for radio station plays on KBS Cool FM programs. Other than the 7 main KBS Cool FM radio programs, all other KBS radio programs do not apply for the K-chart's broadcast score category. This fact applies to all artists equally each week."
