Trot singer Lim Young Woong made an impressive feat in album sales!

On May 2, Lim Young Woong released his long-awaited first full-length album, 'IM HERO.' On its first day of release, the album sold almost one million copies on Hanteo. With the album selling 940,624 copies, Lim Young Woong has broken the record for the highest first-day sales by any soloist on Hanteo.

He has also joined the global boy group BTS as the only acts surpassing the incredible milestone on the first release day. 'IM HERO' has now become the fifth highest-selling album in Hanteo's history in first-day sales, just behind BTS's 'Map of the Soul: 7,' 'Map of the Soul: Persona,' 'BE,' and 'Butter'.

Not only did Lim Young Woong do remarkably in sales, but his album also topped various domestic charts. "If We Ever Meet Again", which is the album's title track, immediately entered the Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Flo music charts. In addition, all the 12 tracks from the album have surpassed 10,000 likes on the Melon music chart within an hour of its release.
