Back on May 2, HYBE's new girl group LE SSERAFIM made their highly-anticipated debut with their 1st mini-album 'FEARLESS', along with the release of the title track of the same name. As previously reported, the album accumulated over 380,000 pre-order copies, which is a great achievement for a rookie artist.
Now, according to the data released by Hanteo chart, 'FEARLESS' has recorded 176,861 copies sold on its first day of release. This makes LE SSERAFIM the girl group with the highest-selling debut album in Hanteo's history. The record was previously held by Kep1er's 'FIRST IMPACT', which had around 150,000 first-day album sales.
Congratulations to LE SSERAFIM on their successful debut!
I guess it going to be a trend to make cheaper albums so fandoms can buy more.
