Global phenomenon PSY released his first song 'That That' since 2017, featuring BTS' Suga.

During the interview, Suga expressed his gratefulness to PSY, saying, "He was always someone I was grateful for. He paved the way with 'Gangnam Style' for K-pop in the U.S. so that we were able to follow his footsteps with ease.”

Suga added, "When we started gaining traction in the States in 2017, he was someone I really wanted to meet up with. I thought it would be great to get some advice when I was going through a tough time."

I'm glad he gave credit to PSY. I know some K-Pop acts like Wonder Girls and Rain made some noise here in the U.S. before PSY but "Gangnam Style" was extremely popular here. PSY just didn't have a ton of fans to keep his momentum moving forward though.
