(G)I-DLE's Miyeon, currently gearing up to greet fans as a solo artist, went into detail about the direction of her solo album, as well as her attitude, her happiness, and more in a pictorial and interview with 'Elle' magazine.
For this spring pictorial, Miyeon channeled her inner "TOMBOY" with baggy, mannish styles. In her interview which followed, Miyeon shared her thoughts on debuting as a solo artist. She said, "I have always wondered what I can do best, what I would like to do. Then, as I prepared for this album, I was able to arrange all of these thoughts which have been floating around aimlessly in my head, and I was able to paint a picture. Once I had a definite image, the rest went smoothly."
Miyeon then dived into how she determined the direction of her solo sound and concept, stating, "I enjoy hearing various thoughts and opinions from others. Ever since my debut, I have learned new things about myself by taking on different challenges. I hope to become someone who is open to all kinds of opinions and opportunities. I am at a point where I feel confident about my work and myself, and I think that attitude serves as the basis for my happiness."
Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE Miyeon's 1st mini album 'MY' is set for release on April 27 at 6 PM KST.
Miyeon really has those "model-vibes".
Also, I really liked that white/cream colored look in the last pic.
It gives both a classy and bucolic feeling.
