On April 8 KST, former DAY6 member Jae kicked started a new chapter in his music career with the release of his new single, 'Car Crash.'

This will mark the start of a new chapter in his music career after his departure from the K-pop group DAY6 as well as JYP Entertainment back in December of 2021. After his departure from the label and group, Jae has been kept connected with his fans through social media, continuously communicating with them.

With the support of his fans, Jae was able to debut at number 1 on iTunes in the Philippines, Singapore, and more. To thank his fans, Jae posted a heartfelt letter on his Twitter.

He wrote, "I wanted to take a short moment before everything kicks off tomorrow and thank you guys. The past 3 months have been a time of growth and reset for me. Thank you for sticking with me and reminding me when I strayed from my path mentally."

The artist continued to share, "Thank you for giving me a chance to prove that I could grow and be better. Beyond my fear of what my happen today, I want you to know, no matter what may come, you guys have been the absolute rock of my life."
