President-elect Yoon Seok Yeol explained that the Presidential transition committee is discussing a performance by BTS at the inauguration ceremony on the 10th of May.

Park Joo Sun, chairman of the inauguration preparations, appeared on KBS radio's 'Joo Jin Woo Live' on April 5th and answered, "We are discussing that as well" to the question, 'Is BTS preparing for the inauguration ceremony?'

The Commission on Presidential Transition visited BTS' agency HYBE on the 2nd and discussed ways to develop pop culture.

Chairman Park said, "We are preparing for the inauguration ceremony in that direction because President-elect Yoon said it's more important to focus on the core content than just looking flashy on the outside."

He continued, "He (Elect Yoon) humbly upholds the will of the people and always emphasizes the common people, the weak, young people, and children. He also wants to hold the (inauguration) ceremony in such a way that it could allow such people to have dreams. Therefore, he wants to have the inauguration for that purpose."

As to whether former President Park Geun Hye will attend the inauguration ceremony, he said, "We are watching the progress because the elected president publicly told the press that he would have the opportunity to meet with former President Park Geun Hye once before the inauguration ceremony." He also added, "If the invitations to the inauguration ceremony are completed without any notice, by the time the invitations are sent, I think that I will proceed with the invitation process with courtesy.”
