According to media outlet reports on March 10, Suzy has been offered the female lead role in an upcoming Netflix-original series, based off of a popular webtoon.
The original webtoon series 'The Girl Downstairs', also known as 'Lee Doo Na!', tells the story of a first-year college student, Lee Won Joon, who begins living in a share house with a girl named Lee Doo Na, a former K-Pop idol.
Soon after media outlets reported that the popular webtoon series would be getting a drama remake, many netizens came up with imaginary castings for the role of the former K-Pop idol, Lee Doo Na.
It looks like Suzy is a highly likely candidate for the role of Lee Doo Na, a character who decides to retire from the K-Pop industry in order to return to school. Meanwhile, Suzy most recently wrapped up filming for the Coupang Play original series 'Anna', which is expected to air some time later this year.
The Netflix remake of 'The Girl Downstairs' will be directed by Lee Jung Hyo of 'Crash Landing On You' and 'Romance Is A Bonus Book'.
