In the K-pop idol formula, there are members who take on different roles, such as the main vocal, main rapper, main visual member, and the center member. The center member is the one who takes the center position in various promotional content, including performances. 

The center member is usually seen at the center of the group taking the attention at the beginning, the climax, and or the ending part of the performances. In each idol group, especially the girl groups, there is the key center member that fans can think of right away. For instance, Irene would be the center member for Red Velvet, while Nayeon can be seen as the center member for TWICE.

Recently, netizens have gathered to discuss who the center member would be for the rookie girl group NMIXX. One netizen created an online community post explaining that JYP Entertainment seemed to have picked member Kyujin as the center member for NMIXX as she is seen at the center at the beginning, climax, and ending of the debut track "O.O"

The netizen who created the post explained, "NMIXX's youngest member Kyujin is usually at the center in the beginning, climax, and ending part. She seems to be the member also doing the main killing parts too."

Other netizens agreed that it seems the Kyujin has been picked as the center member for this group and explained that she is talented and has the charms fit to be the center member. Netizens commented, "I think she has the most charms that fit to be the center member," "She's cute," "She's really good at dancing and she very eye-catching," "She dances the best I think," "I like Jinnie the best but I think Kyujin has more of the talent and charms to be in the center," "She dances so well and she also looks gorgeous," "I think she would be more fit to be the center member if the group did a more fresh and cute concept lol," "She's just really good in my opinion," "I love Kyujin," and, "I think she's perfect to be the center member."
