Big Hit Music has made their first response to the news of BTS and Snoop Dogg's upcoming collaboration.
On March 28 KST, the label released a short press statement, saying, "We will share more specifics [about the collaboration with Snoop Dogg] when they are confirmed."
Earlier this week, Snoop Dogg was at the red carpet event for NBC's 'American Song Content' when he confirmed he would be collaborating with BTS. He also shared a little about the collaboration with entertainment news site The A.V. Club, stating, "I'm going to let [BTS] tell you about it. It's official like a referee with a whistle. I love that entertainment world. It's good music. It's [a] vibe. [...] I make good music. [BTS] makes good music, and we end up doing this. This is what it's always about, bringing our worlds together."
News of a possible collaboration began back in January when Snoop Dogg mentioned BTS in a podcast, saying that he had received a collaboration request from the group, and they were currently in the discussion stages.
Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg has previously worked with a number of K-Pop artists, including Psy, 2NE1, and Girls' Generation.
