According to one media outlet report on April 1, Ahn Cheol Soo, current chief of the incoming presidential transition committee, is expected to visit HYBE Corporation later this week.
Ahn Cheol Soo, a former member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, was recently appointed as the chief of the presidential transition committee by president-elect Yoon Seok Yeol earlier this month.
The report claimed that Ahn Cheol Soo's visit to HYBE Corporation will primarily deal with discussions around military service exemption for BTS. In fact, prior to his withdrawal from the presidential election earlier this year to support Yoon Seok Yeol and the People Power Party, Ahn Cheol Soo firmly advocated for BTS's military exemption as a part of his campaign. Ahn argued that "BTS have abundant right to be considered for military exemption," and "the issue of BTS's military exemption is a key factor in the government's forthcoming strategy for the growth of Korea's entertainment industry."
Ahn Cheol Soo will allegedly visit HYBE Corporation later this week on April 2, in order to hear various opinions related to the issue of BTS's military exemption. Ahn and his committee also plan to discuss matters such as existing difficulties in the current entertainment industry, and areas of improvement which require government support or aid.
They should serve as all other people there. In the end they are nothing but ordinary people.... It's really unfair for the rest idols and ordinary people living there
