INTER GIRLS has already won 4 Rookie of the year awards without even debuting.
INTER GIRLS is a four-member girl group from INTERBD Entertainment consisting of Aire, Seolhwa, Leena, and Whynn. They have been doing various activities before debuting, such as performing in festivals not only in Korea but also had pre-debut activities in the United States.
According to their company's website, they have already won 4 Rookie of the year awards without having a single song released! They won the following rookie of the year awards:
- Jimaea Awards (November 2021)
- LBMA Awards (November 2021)
- Entertainment Awards (December 2021)
- Hallyu Culture Awards (December 2021)
This is an unusual thing for a pre-debut group, but it proves that they might be the next big thing in K-pop.
Currently, they are preparing for their first showcase on April 2nd and will also be filming an original YouTube series to find the final member that will join the group. You can follow the group on their official Instagram and their promotional Instagram. They plan to debut in the first half of 2022.
Awards with covers only? Nothing against the girls, they seem to be making an effort and are talented but i think its too farfetched.
