Jay Park's Won Soju has will be sold at 14,900 KRW (~12.50 USD).

On the 25th, One Spirits Co., Ltd. (CEO Jay Park) will introduce ‘Won Soju’ to the Korean market.

‘Won Soju’ will be sold at 14,900 KRW per 375 ml., a higher price than regular soju, which is normally priced at 4,000 to 5,000 KRW (~3.35 to 4.19 USD) for 360 ml at restaurants. ‘Won Soju’ is a premium distilled soju made with 100% Korean rice and no additives.

Unlike diluted soju, which is diluted with alcohol as the base ingredient and added with sweetener, Won Soju is characterized by a clean, soft taste and flavor through the reduced pressure distillation method.

In particular, it goes through the aging process in pottery made by artisans.

Previously in Esquire Korea magazine's official YouTube channel, Jay Park said, "I developed it for two years, had a meeting once a week, and tasted it every day. Now it's finally launching."

Jay Park also said, “With the launch, we plan to globalize soju by promoting the excellence of Korean distilled soju not only in Korea but also around the world.”

‘Won Soju’ will be first sold on a limited basis through The Hyundai Seoul pop-up store in Yeouido, Seoul. Starting at the end of March, everyone will be able to purchase ‘Won Soju’ online through its official website.
