IVE's birthday V Live streams gained attention for their aesthetics.
On February 4th, IVE's Wonyoung, Yujin, and Rei's birthday V Live streams gained attention for their eye-catching aesthetics. Recently on February 3rd, IVE member Rei hosted a special V Live stream to celebrate her birthday. After her live stream, beautifully decorated live stream background and aesthetics gained attention along with previously held birthday live streams by Starship Entertainment.
Wonyoung's birthday was back on August 31st and Yuijn's was on September 1st.
Each member was seen with different birthday themes and aesthetics, possibly customized to suit the member's taste.
Many praised Starship Entertainment for detailed decorations, however, not all attention was positive as IVE's label mate MONSTA X's fans expressed their disappointments in the label.
They left comments such as: "Those look really pretty. Now do something nice for MONSTA X as well."
"What about MONSTA X...?"
"Starship you should treat your male idols too smh"
"I've never seen such pretty decorations for birthday V Live for the past 6 years as a Monbebe"
"Is this the same label as MONSTA X?"
"Si Dae, MONSTA X brought all the revenues for you, and how come you never do such nice things for them?"

I imagine part of this is the result that I've is new, so Starship is working with a clean slate and they notice that other companies are upping their games or feel the need to up theirs with their new group to be ahead. I am certain there are things NCT or Aespa does that Super Junior, Shinee, EXO, Red Velvet, FX, or SNSD didn't do. Also as a guy and many of the guys I know would prefer a more spartan set dressing for a birthday V-live as I don't like people being put out putting up a bunch of decorations that someone has to clean up just a few hours later and I don't care much for busy backgrounds. I think a lot of guys would be like a cake, a decent wi-fi connection for fans, and maybe a banner is all I need at most. It's possible the guys in that group have zero problem with a fairly plain set and this is just their fans being jealous about something the guys don't care about.
