It has been reported that 'Snowdrop' will finish airing all the episodes a week earlier than scheduled.
On January 21 KST, SpoTV News reported that the JTBC drama 'Snowdrop' will be airing its last episode on January 30, which is a week earlier than scheduled.
'Snowdrop,' which is a 16-episode drama, has five more episodes to air, and episode 12 is scheduled to air on the 22nd. Following this schedule, the drama is originally scheduled to end on February 5. However, JTBC revealed that it will air episodes 15 and 16 on January 30.
'Snowdrop' takes place against the backdrop of Seoul of 1987 and the story unfolds as a spy sneaks into an all-girls university dormitory trying to escape from his pursuers. There, he meets Young Ro, a student at the school, who treats his wounds. The two fall in love and the story of love between a spy and a university student unfolds.
However, 'Snowdrop' has been at the center of attention even before the episodes aired as it became embroiled in various controversies being accused of distorting history. After the premiere, the controversy heightened bringing many Korean netizens to boycott the drama and create petitions against it for the historical distortion. Despite the controversy, the drama continued to air the episodes and received love from overseas fans.
Meanwhile, 'Forecasting Love and Weather' will be the follow-up drama that will premiere after 'Snowdrop.' The first episode of the new drama will be airing on February 12 at 10:30 PM KST.
I see a lot haters in the comments. Maybe they should start a useless petition again ☺️
