Seohyun in talks to star in large-budget Netflix original series 'Thief: Sound of the Sword'

Girls' Generation's Seohyun has been offered a role as the female lead in the large-budget Netflix original series, 'Thief: Sound of the Sword'


According to industry insiders on January 27, Seoohyun has been offered the role of Nam Hee Shin, an independence movement activist. Nam Hee Shin disguises herself as a pro-Japanese supporter while secretly strategizing with the Korean independence movement.

If cast, this will be Seohyun's second time joining a Netflix project, following her upcoming Netflix original film 'Love and Leashes'.

'Thief: Sound of the Sword' is scheduled to begin filming later this year.
