Lim Young Woong's agency has released a statement in response to recent news that he saved a car crash victim.
Earlier on January 23 KST, it was reported that the trot singer performed CPR on a man who was unconscious in his car's driver seat after a car accident nearby Seoul's Banpo Bridge. He was also the first to report the crash, and a 119 rescue team responded and transferred the man, now conscious, to a medical facility.
Soon after, his agency Mulgogi Music confirmed the news, saying, "Lim Young Woong witnessed the scene of the car accident on the way back from the schedule. He then came forward to help a driver in the car accident."
"Everyone, including Lim Young Woong, was surprised to see the situation," the agency continued. They then confirmed that the singer is currently in good health and did not sustain any injuries during the incident.
Meanwhile, on the same day as Mulgogi Music's press statement, Lim Young Woong attended the 31st Seoul Music Awards.
